Great news – you can now export ASK BOSCO® dashboards as continuous PDFs. This means you can export exactly what’s on your screen – no page breaks, no reformatting.
Exporting a dashboard to PDF doesn’t always give you want you want. You may get a chart split across two pages, a table cut in half, a layout that doesn’t quite match the original. It’s small things, but it means an extra round of tidying up before you share anything to your team.
This is something our clients have told us about directly, and it’s why we’ve added a new download format: PDF continuous.
What PDF continuous does
PDF continuous is a WYSIWYG export (What You See Is What You Get.) Rather than fitting your dashboard into fixed page sizes, it preserves the original layout and presents each tab as its own clean, continuous page.
In practice, that means:
- Charts, tables, and layout are preserved as they appear in ASK BOSCO®
- No page breaks within a tab — content flows as one continuous document, separated only by tabs
- Exports are ready to share as they are, without manual fixes
Who it’s useful for
Agency teams sharing performance dashboards with clients get a PDF that’s accurate first time, so there’s no reformatting before it goes out.
Marketing and commercial teams exporting dashboards for presentations, board packs, or internal reports get output where the visual detail holds up.
Your existing download options are unchanged
PDF continuous is an addition, not a replacement. PDF (pages), XLSX, and CSV all work exactly as before:
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| PDF continuous | Sharing dashboards that need to look like dashboards — clients, presentations, board packs |
| PDF (pages) | Fixed-page exports where a traditional paginated document is what you need |
| XLSX | Working with the underlying numbers or building your own views |
| CSV | Feeding data into another tool |
How to use it
Open any dashboard, select download, and choose PDF continuous. There’s nothing to set up.
If there’s something else in ASK BOSCO® you’d like to see work differently, tell us — this release came from client feedback, and we’re always keen to hear your ideas to make ASK BOSCO® even better.
