Our team is heading out to Nashville for Shoptalk Fall 2026, and while we were planning the week, we went looking for a list of the side events. We couldn’t find one. So we compiled one, and it seemed a shame not to share it.
This guide covers 21 Shoptalk Fall side events across four days that we found from official show pages, Luma invites, host company sites and public posts. Every one below has its time, venue, host and how to get in…. And if yours isn’t on our list, please let us know!
TL;DR
- There are 21 side events running alongside Shoptalk Fall 2026 in Nashville, from Monday 28 September to Thursday 1 October.
- Monday night is the busiest of the week, and it happens before the show opens, so it’s worth flying in a day early.
- Only two are open to any badge holder. Most of the rest need an invite, an approval form or a DM to the host.
- The dinners fill up first. Some of them only seat twelve, so apply a couple of weeks out.
- Things may change: Confirm with the host before you plan around anything here.

How to get invited to Shoptalk Fall side events
Around two thirds of the events on this list are gated in some way, and they don’t all work the same. The routes in are:
Buy a ticket. Only the RTM Nexus meet-up on the Wednesday works this way, at $40 a head.
Use your badge. The Honky Tonk Party and the RETHINK Retail happy hour need nothing more than your Shoptalk registration. The official Shopwalks tours need a badge and an application form.
Apply and wait for approval. This is the most common route. The curated events, like the Retail Leaders Reception, will check who you work for before they release the address. It’s worth filling the form in properly, because a vague job title is usually why people don’t hear back.
Message the host. The Shoplift events work this way. Find the named host on LinkedIn and send them a message. It’s an informal process, but it’s how those rooms actually get filled.
Whichever route applies, do it a couple of weeks before the show. The dinners seat twelve to sixteen people and they go early.
What the Shoptalk Fall 2026 list tells you about side events
A few things stood out while we were putting this together, which are worth knowing whether you’re attending or thinking about hosting something next year.
Hardly anyone hosts alone. Most of the events here are four to nine non-competing companies splitting one venue between them. The Soho House mixer, the RunDTC afterparty and the Billy Reid evening are all shared like this. A Nashville rooftop is expensive, and splitting it five ways is how most companies get one.
The small tables are where the useful conversations happen. A twelve-seat dinner will do more for you than a 300-person rooftop, and it costs the host a fraction as much. These are also the events that are hardest to find out about, because they never get listed anywhere.
Evenings are crowded and mornings are empty. Tuesday has six events after 17:00 and one before it. If you’re planning to host something next year, breakfast is wide open.
Where is Shoptalk Fall?
Shoptalk Fall 2026 is at the Music City Center, 201 5th Avenue South, downtown Nashville. Hotel blocks, discounted airline codes and the recommended hotels are all on the official travel and venue page.
Almost all the Shoptalk side events on this list are within walking distance of the convention center — Lower Broadway is a few minutes away, and the two furthest venues (12 South and Wedgewood-Houston) are a short ride. You can realistically do three events in one evening.

Shoptalk Fall 2026 FAQs
When is Shoptalk Fall 2026?
Shoptalk Fall 2026 runs from 29 September to 1 October at Music City Center in Nashville. The official pre-day programme starts on Monday 28 September.
Are there side events at Shoptalk Fall 2026?
Yes. We found 21, running from Monday 28 September through to Thursday 1 October. They range from 300-person rooftop parties to twelve-seat dinners, plus the official store tours and executive summits.
Is there an official Shoptalk Fall side event calendar?
No. Shoptalk publishes its own programme, but there’s no public calendar covering the vendor-hosted side events in Nashville. This list is the closest thing we know of.
Do I need a Shoptalk badge to attend side events?
For the official ones, yes. The Honky Tonk Party, the Shopwalks tours and the Behind the Scenes happy hour are all badge holders only. Most vendor-hosted events don’t ask for a badge, but they do want an invite or an approved application.
What’s happening on Sunday 27 September?
Nothing that we could find. Sunday is the one empty day of the week.
How do I get my event added to this list?
Send it over to us at team@askbosco.com and we’ll add it. The list is more useful to everybody if it’s complete.
